Just behind our building, a couple of minutes walk, is the local SWIMMING POOL complete with flume.
 
 
There are several pubs within very close proximity of the apartment.  The closest, The Bathhouse (2), is less than 200 yards away.  The Victory (5) had roast potatoes on the bar when I last visited on a Sunday lunchtime!  The Walton Tavern (6) is in the middle of town and yet next to the sea.  You can get your fish and chips from the corner chippy about 20 yards from the pub, go get a pint and take them both to the bench overlooking the sea!  How much better does it get!!
